      Gazza on Piers Morgan.
      Nov 12, 2011 10:39:17 pm
Had me in tears tonight watching him.

Always had a soft spot for him and seeing how up front, honest and emotional he is, really got me emotional.

any one else watching it ?

I would have mate but I can't watch anything with Morgan in it to be honest.

Always quite liked Gazza as well.

      Fantastic player on his day.

Like Gazza read his book a few months ago. It is a very good read. Interesting to see Kenny was very interested in him and he wanted the move just never happened. I always feel that injury stopped him becoming a really world class player

The injury had a big impact on his career I agree.

He had the potential to be a great player.

Ya think he lost a yard of pace. He was never the quickest but he had this burst of pace over ten yard it got him away from players i think he lost that after the injury. He should have been sent off for the first tackle on parker and it would have stopped the second challenge on Charles

He went by some players as if they weren't there at times.

Admit I haven't seen the interview.

Have very little sympathy for people who have it all and throw it all away.

I am sure there are numerous people in life who have the same troubles, but do not get given chance after chance, and appearance fee after appearance fee that Gazza has.

It's those people I feel sorry for.

Adiction can be a terrible thing JD, he admitted to havin 16 lines of coke and 4 bottles of whisky a day every day for 3 months, in that time he did not eat food or drink water, he held the belief that if he did, it would kill him, his weight plummeted to less than 9 stone.

Thats how fu**ed up addiction is, the only thing that was really killing him, he was doing in excess and thats actually quite scary.

He highlights his massive physiological problems in his book. He is very open and honest. Like George best he had massive personal issues.  It is very hard not to feel sorry for him . Im  happy he has turned it around but i wonder for how long. The way he was living his life he was heading for an early grave

I'll see it later but did see a clip and thought he was very, very lucky to be here.
Moreso with that information about him putting away that amount of booze and coke in 3 months, it's to be hoped he doesn't drop his guard.

I'd have to be very, very drunk to watch anything with that slimy c**t morgan in and even then I'd want to smash his smug self-righteous face in.

If it's possible to deal with the devil he's one who's done it.

It was hard watching to be honest, its not nice watching a grown man choke back the tears and almost breakdown when recounting everything bad that he's been through, he stuttered and stammered his way through it at first and when it first started he looked and sounded like a stroke victim, thought it was very emotional and it certainly made me well up.

Yeah I have read his book too Corbally, he was just too impatient to wait for Kenny to get the money sorted.

I know he had mental problems from an early age, but I still believe he brought a lot of his problems on himself, and the way he treated his mate was a disgrace. Paying him to stand there while he shot him with an air gun, feeding him mince pies filled with sh*t etc etc

Feel sorry for him now though.

Likeable is Gazza but you always get the feeling he's going to fall back off the wagon. Really hope he doesn't.

The part of the interview that made me think most was when he was talking about moving to Spurs over Man Utd. It was seen as humerous on the show when he was talking of how he had promised Fergie he would sign but when on the way to Manchester he got a call from Spurs who said they would buy his Mum and Dad a house and then he blags them a car and his Sister a sunbed before going back down to sign for them before Fergie got back off holiday.

For me that was not only a defining moment in his career but in his life. Typical Gascoigne really - not taking it seriously enough and basically F***ing up. I know we all love to hate Ferguson but if Gazza had gone to that lot I believe Ferguson would of managed and nurtered the player better than most could of and it may of helped him being up North and not being thrust into the capital.

Hope the lad stays sober though.

Did he mention knocking F**k out of his missus while he was at Rangers.

For me Italia 90 summed him up, one crying little bi*ch!
