Leroy Sane (Schalke 04)

Think it's time someone started this topic.
Sane looks like a genuine and exciting talent and would be perfect to have him on board.

He looks like a real talent and if Klopp wants him, I'm all for it. Watched bits of Schalke vs Bayern yesterday (the game was at the same time was our match vs City so I only caught highlights afterwards) and in at least one key play he was quite impressive.

The only game I've ever seen him in was that Schalke-Madrid leg at the Bernabeu.  He was outstanding, a real live-wire.

Just hope he's not some sort of replacement for Coutinho.

Different sort of player for a start and Klopp will be an extra incentive for most players to hang around.

Okay you must've seen a lot more of him than I have---where would he play, assuming Coutinho is a guaranteed starter?

Sane is more of a wide player and is a lot quicker than Coutinho so for me Sane has all the attributes missing with Lallana and Milner, the ability the beat a man for pace and by dribbling the ball.

This would be interesting. Sane is a good young player, pretty fast too.

Thanks for the video. It's that play around 1:02 which caught my eye when watching the highlights. Looks a very promising player, and you can see why Klopp might be interested. Will pay even more attention to him from now on.

We need to break the bank for this kid, his value will only go up. His natural position is exaclty where were lacking.
