Looking at our previous game back in 2008, Figo and Crespo on the bench at the San Siro. Iā€™ll never forget Torres scoring that goal, with the away goal rule it just completed deflated any hope for Inter. Did we go out against Chelsea the following round? That insane game where Aurelio scored that freekick inside post.

Long gone are the days of me watching Italian football!!

What are we facing here tonight tactically and technically? Ill make the lazy assumption they are fantastic at the back, will go down at the drop of a hat while expertly fouling us cynically and will have at least one forward wholl have us shitting ourselves if he gets the ball in our box

I asked a colleague of mine for some insight (note: he is a AC Milan supporter so he might be a bit biased  ;)). He said the way they play isn't too dissimilar to how we operate. High defensive line, high press. They use a 3-5-2 formation with very attacking full backs.
He said they often struggle against teams using the same high press, so that's good news for us!  ;D

Will be a trickier game than some think, they are a good team that havenā€™t faded away after losing Conte and Lukaku.

In Lanzarote at the moment so hoping the hotel bar has it on. Plenty of lads in Liverpool shirts around the place so Iā€™m sure a solution will be found! ;D

People better start believing this is a tough old game. Especially this first leg.

Solid as a f**king rock this lot with a sting in their tail and enough shithousery amongst them to build a shithouse. Hakan Calhanoglu can hit some outrageous free kicks if he plays so that's one thing to look out for. Might be a bit of a luxury at Anfield but could be a problem away.

Take a draw or better here and take them back to Anfield.

The redraw wasn't kind but the question is have they got the legs with Vidal to go the distance with us?

Ye who have little faith!  Of course itā€™s gonna be tough itā€™s the CL knockoutā€™s, any team who team who reach this stage are no mugs, However, weā€™ve been here before many a time where we were deemed ā€œup against itā€ and came thru unscathed, I see no reason to fear Internationale who for me are a inferior side, all over the pitch,

I would bet that they are indeed fearful of us and will be extremely worried how they cope with our attack, we have a history of gaining the upper hand away from home especially in this competition, Royal Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Atleti, AC Milan, spring to mind immediately, some more than once,

Look at our side, from back to front we are superior, but of course thatā€™s on a sheet of paper, itā€™s on the pitch that we will see the true difference, it will not be easy by any stretch, but at this stage, in this competition in these circumstances  Iā€™d back our team against anyone, including your PSGā€™s, your Man Shittyā€™s, Bayern M , bring it f***in on, in fact bring them all on because we are as every bit as good as any of them and better than one or two, we just need to get out there and prove it , like we have Six times before !!

Make no mistake, they will be f***in bricking it having to face us, thatā€™s the aura we carry with us in Europe, thatā€™s what our European Pedigree has given us, if you remember those past days where if you were drawn against say RM you were full of dread and fear, well, thatā€™s us now, weā€™re the ones now who hold that same dread and fear, a win tonight for me virtually seals a Q final berth and only three other wins
      away from No 7.

Let's get to the QF and draw Citeh. We play Citeh in between two QF ties, so there will be three matches with Citeh within a week and show them who the boss really is  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

I know very little about their squad. Since it seems our biggest weakness are forwards with pace getting behind our high line, how do they stack up pace wise?
