      Internet shopping for deals
      Dec 08, 2007 02:23:07 pm
      Most of you will be probably aware of this site.
      I came across this last week, and have been impressed with the varity on offer.

      http://www.hotukdeals.com

      It welcomes people to post any offer / deal about, whether it's on the internet or on the high street.
      It may be of use to someone before christmas, but I'll be using the site for the sales after christmas.

      It also has discount codes on show at times for certain sites.

      Feel free to post any other good sites with decent deals on show.

      Also ShopWindow have practically every product in every store in the country in their database.

      Well worth a look - if it exists - it will be on there.

      Can somebody please tell me what the point is in shops?

      Just been to a retail park and went to HMV.  Full of prams/pushchairs etc in the shops (after eventually finding a space to park the car) and I picked up:

      Singstar on the PS3 (don't ask) £24.99
      Keane Live DVD £15.99
      iPod cover thing £14.99

      Total = £55.97

      Then saw the queue which was snaked back around twice and wasn't moving.  Left all the stuff on a shelf.

      Came back and just ordered on internet

      Singstar £17.99
      Keane £9.99
      iPod cover thing £10.99

      Total = £38.97

      The high street stores are doomed.  All I did was burn vital fossil fuels and get a cob on.  I was  >:( but now I am  ;D

      Well in JD, I hate shopping on those retail parks as well, you can never find a space and the queues are a nightmare !!  which one did you go to Speke ?? That place is busy at the best of times, but well done, you can buy yourself something nice with the £17.00 you saved  ;D ;D

      Yeah, that Speke retail park is a ghastly nightmare all the time!

      Think I could manage just one shopping trip to town near Christmas - nothing to do with ending up in a pub afterwards like....  ;D

      But online is the way to go, for sure!

      Cheers for the link by the way Tommo!! Will be having a good look at that in January!
