Has Gillet said anything over the last couple of days?

That he is surprised that Tom took his views to the press other than the board.

      Not much at all really.

He was doing all the talking in the opening press conference when they bought the club out. Hicks was sitting there quiet thinking about how he could F**k Liverpool over.

To be honest, Gillette probably knew what Hicks' idea was, thats why he kept interrupting when Tom Hicks was asked a question!

At the first press conference at least Hicks called us a club... Gillet kept referring to us as a "franchise"... look at the video if you can find it...

Both are pirate$ though... no doubt...

I'm trying to look for Rafa's first ever press conference. I remember he was struggling for words as his English was not so fluent back then. If anyone can find this clip on the net I'd be more than gratefull, thanks :)

Yeah calling us a franchise is just offending us in one of the worst possible way. You would of thought they'd have learnt to call us a club before the conference...

The difference is Gillet is actually savvy enough to realise he's not wanted and would love to cut his losses if Hicks would just accept a sale to DIC.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Moores with the 3 musketeers, after all he did get the extra cash when the DIC deal was reneged on.I would assume that he was privy to all the negotiations with P-Rick Parry so must take some of the blame for the problems at the club.
