Why is it scary? If anyone has a good attitude, and works his ass off on a consistent basis then it's Kuyt isn't it? Now imagine a much more superior technical player like Wijnaldum with that same attitude.

I am one of those still hoping the club will be sold to football people, then players like this can be purchased and Rafa will not have to keep selling good players in order to try and get better ones, sometimes that option will not work, and besides it's about time H&G sold up and went.

Id rather promote Eccleston and Pacheco to be honest

That's scary? He's 19 years old, Kuyt was 26 when he left Feyenoord, obviously he needs some years to grow physically and gain experience. You have to understand that Kuyt is seen as a great a rolemodel for young Feyenoord players, mostly because of his mentality and character. Kuyt still played amateur football when he was 18, it's amazing how far he has come since then. And he's still very much connected to Feyenoord and wants to return there some day, he even has somewhat of an advisor role currently there. With all that in mind, he sets a great example, no denying that.

And ofcourse Wijnaldum isn't better yet than Kuyt right now, but yeah I do feel he certainly will be. They're hard to compare though, Wijnaldum is much more the type of player you'd expect in the attacking role, creative and technical, while Kuyt is Kuyt 

Players seems to show up in the dutch league much better than over here - Kezman, Alfonso Alves, Babel unfortunately, so I'd only go for him at a knock down rate (which I guess will probably be true of all our signings this summer anyway....)
