i think it will be a comfortable win for the reds hopefully, a good win v galatasery will help settle us into the group.

Got to agree with you on that Stev, glad that Risse is back and in such good form as well.  You would never know he was coming back from injury would you ?  Roll on Wed- i love European nights at Anfield when i can sing my heart out !!

We have to win our home games in the CL, I cant see any thing but a reds win 2-0.

Too right - I don't think it is an occasion to start 'resting' players - 3 home wins in the group stages and we are through - simple as that.

I don't think even Rafa can 'rest' Kuyt - he's on fire.  Crouch will get a start.  As for the defence I reckon the old guard of Hyypia and Carra are going to play.

I don't know much about Galatasaray so not sure if the winged approach is the one to go with - but if you play Crouch you need somebody to get down the line and get the crosses in.

Reds 3-1.

I do think though that Crouch will start with Bellemy, the reason for this is that the back 4 of Galatasaray have trouble coping with crosses, well from what ive seen anyway, especially crosses at pace.

I think if our Jermaine is fit he will start on the right with crosses into Peter and if bellemy stays close for any flick downs we will be in.
I think a good raping is in order 3-0 or maybe 4-0 would give morale as great boost.

Crouch and Kuyt (or one of the centrebacks) to score in a 2-0 win.

A few seasons back we had the problem of having a shortage of players in certain positions.

This season we have the problem of having too many good players in certain positions. Thus the rotation system.

Momo and Xabi are just darn solid in the centre and Stevie G had to be pushed wide on the right. So on the bench goes Pennant. However, if we got Stevie back in centre then it's a matter of sacrificing either Xabi or Momo. Which is a tough decision to make. Or probably do a 4-5-1 with Momo & Xabi in the centre and Stevie slightly up front behind the striker. Which would mean sacrificing either Kuyt or Bellamy. Argh~!

Thank God I'm not Rafa. And thank God we have Rafa.
