Well it came and went and we signed nowt.
And now Robbie can be called whatever the f*** he likes now.
Can't understand how we let a good striker leave and have had no replacements.
      Ludicrous.

I have moved this 3 times trying to find the right thread, hopefully this is it...

      Just a query,

We paid £20m ish for Keane, but owed £9m, which equals £11m, yes, now Spurs paid £12m plus add ons, I take this means 3pts come may, So the £12m we got, does that take into account the £9m outstanding or not. If it does, we are even, if not we were shafted.
      Any one?

We made 2 million-ish with the potential to be more is what i understand of it. Nothing is being said about the 10 million we owed so it must be wiped off? Harry must have been desperate.

My understanding of the whole deal is that we took just over a £2 M loss.

I believe we probably had paid around £15 M in fees and Spurs have repaid us £12 M.  They will make a smaller payment to us if they stay in the Premier League.

Therefore the BBC quoting it as £12 M is incorrect as we had around £4 M still to pay which has now been wiped.  Therefore after paying around £18.3 M for him we have sold him for around £16 M.

The media is unfortunately trying to cause trouble again but there is no way Liverpool would have sold him to take a near 50% loss.   As it is at £2 M, some people I've talked to have even described it as a profit! (Bit harsh though)

So, no new signing till summer. I still think we need a good winger, we should honestly try getting Simao off Atletico

Simao would be a good option, but as the transfer window is closed, so is this.
