Bentley hasn't really kicked on at Spurs so I'd have doubts if he were to come here.

I'd pick Lennon over him as he brings genuine pace and ability to get to the byline which I think we need on the right hand side. I know his final ball isn't great but I think it's been getting better and he is young, quick and hungry.

The type of player Liverpool need in my view.

Lennon is the type of player we need, I agree.

We lack geniune pace apart from Torres, Gerrard and Babel - the latter of whom we rarely play anymore. Lennon will bring with him another dimension to our play.

You guys think this Keane deal is going ahead despite Rafa saying he 'thinks' Keane will be here after the window shuts?

Personally, I still think he'll stay until the summer.

I wonder if we've already bought someone to replace Keane? With the Keane deal now finalised and with the extension there could still be a possible new face at Anfield.

Rumours going round that ever-truthful 606 that we sold Keane to get the funds for Villa as the talks have been ongoing.

Someone started another rumor saying there is a confirmed sale of Villa to Everton for 24m! So who knows!

It most likely won't happen, but it does make sense as Spurs didn't want to do a player-plus-cash deal for Keane.

I swear the window closed 25 minutes ago, but deals are still going through? What's up with that?

FIFA and the FA have allowed an extra couple of hours for potential deals that were already ongoing due to the weather conditions. It's hard to get anywhere with icy roads and blizzards all over the UK ;)

If a club can prove that the adverse weather has hampered the progress to make a signing then dispensation is offered, this is the case with Arshavin and Keane, since London is practically at a standstill.

Remember the Tevez and Masch to WHam?  That really was a bolt from the blue.

I really don't think we are getting Villa though.

In other words United haven't made up their minds as to whether or not they should bring another player in before tomorrow :D

Sorry if you didnt get it Res, it was my attempt at humouring those on 606.

Anyone see that noob who said he worked in the Arsenal shop and was told to print 20 shirts with arshavin and 15 on????

Then only to realise that 15 was Denilsons number, loser!!! ;D
