Can we also throw The George in here, cheaper prices than the Sandon and still has that rough arse feel about the place.

The Cabbage is still boarded up Brian, can't see that opening up again, more's the pity. Not sure about any others?

We all went to the conservatory in the Sandon on Saturday, it was pretty good, plenty of space and got it's own little bar in there, met up with Tommo, a couple of fella's who'd come over from Holland and Danny8t4 and his Uncle.

I have to say I love the atmosphere in the Park after a match, always a good sing in there.

Think the Park is quite good pre and post match to be honest.

Cabbage isn't getting reopened period from what I can hear. A tesco still appears to be favourite to use the land but that's just gossip, nothing confirmed.

Wouldn't recommend the Windermere to anyone. It's a bit further up Breck Rd from the George on the corner. Still say the best is the Solly though, nice drop in there.

We are going to liverpool-aston villa, and it is our first time.
      I have some questions:

Is the albert the best place to drink something??
What about the atmosphere in the Albert???
How long before the match is the best time to go to the Albert pub???

Sadly, over recent times the Albert has become a bit like the Anfield crowd in general with the majority going to experience something instead contributing and actually being part of something. Personally, if you want to experience a sing-song Id recommend the Park opposite the Kop end but as is relativley small it does get very crowded so Id get there as early as you can.
