if torres had'nt it the post and gerrard had scored from torres' cross then on top of the goal when them 2 did combine for a goal my fantasy football team would have done great :D

      Simple as that! :D

Yesssssssssssssss, we're on the good track. Both sides lost v.easy chances like keane, gerrard, torres, lucas & gardner. Well done kuyt & gerrard for our beautiful goals and nice assists from aurelio and torres. Both kuyt & gerrard scored their seventh goal. YNWA, happy weekend mates.

Someone shoot Lucas, he messed up my 3-0 prediction!
Both Keane and Gerrard choked in front of goal too, would you shoot them as well?

If only Xabi scored!!!! I chose the team right, i chose both goal scorers but added Alonso too.

Gerrard, Nando, Keane and Lucas, wtf were they all doing? We could/should have won 7-0.

Our first half was some of the best football i've seen but it all fell apart in the second. Hyypia IMO was poor overall. Reina, brilliant. Darby should have got the nod, Hyypia just lot the plot in the second and Carra was very annoyed at RB. Just like Wednesday for poor Sami.

Still, 3 points is what we went for and it could have been much, much worse. Lets hope the Baggies can help us out.

First half, was pretty much faultless. Second we looked a little shakey and I honestly thought we were playin with 9 players in the second half because Riera and Kuyt were non existant.

Still, a very professional win and if we took our chances would of won it by a larger margin. Sayin that, they had a fair few chances themselves, but every Premiership side at home is likely to get at least two decent chances.

Xabi, take all the plaudits that come your way fella because you were outstandin today. You showed (again) what a world class player you are. Everythin we did went through you and I don't recall any misplaced passes. Keep it up lad.

We've done our job, the pressure is now on the rest.

Its alright, just adds to our ever unattractive defensive cordon.

As good as open. Keeper would not have been able to stop it. And players were less then 500mm away from the open post.

What about Robbie's surprise to being substituted. I sit here asking myself, 'Why should you stay on?' and called for him to be off for Nando yet he thinks he deserves to keep going. Clueless.

i love your accurate measurements solidee, is that exactly 500mm, thats about 2-3 foot, ide say they would have easily scored... i think maybe the blood rushed to lucases head.
