Bridge (Chelsea), Davies (Aston Villa), Johnson (Portsmouth), Terry (Chelsea), Lescott (Everton), Mancienne (Chelsea), Richards (Man City), Upson (West Ham)

Barry (Aston Villa), Carrick (Man Utd), Downing (Middlesbrough), Lampard (Chelsea), Gerrard (Liverpool), Wright-Phillips (Man City), A Young (Aston Villa)

Agbonlahor (Aston Villa), Bent (Tottenham), Crouch (Portsmouth), Defoe (Portsmouth), Walcott (Arsenal).

      Mancienne :lmao:

I think the picking of Agbonlahor and Young were quite overdue with the type of season they are having.

Yeah.  Hope he picks Barry and Lampard and leaves Gerrard on the bench.

      GERRARD RULED OUT OF FRIENDLY

      Steve Hunter 16 November 2008
Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of England's friendly with Germany in Berlin on Wednesday after suffering an injury during yesterday's 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.
Liverpool FC spokesman Ian Cotton said: "Steven picked up an injury in yesterday's game at Bolton.

"A scan this morning has confirmed a tear in the adductor magnus muscle in his right leg, and he is expected to be out between seven to 10 days."

That's how bad the England squad is. Wayne Bridge, Curtis Davies, Michael Mancinne, Matt Upson and Scott Carson? Seriously that's one poor side.

By the way, has Gerrard's replacement been named yet?

They won't miss him. Jermaine Jenas or Jimmy Bullard will be ready to step up  ::).

Nah he'll probably recall Beckham to the side, no England squad can be doing without the all mighty Beckham now can it  ::)

It is poor compared to the squad we normally have yes BUT it gives capello a chance to look at players who deserve to be in the squad. Ive said for the past season that mancienne is a good player and has been very strong and impressive for the under 21s. Wayne Bridge has improved alot so i dont understand why you are calling them poor players.

Never thought that Jenas was good enough for the england squad but i think that my opinion has finally changed on that, he atleast deserves to start in this friendly. Would love to see bullard come on from the bench, somebody new isnt it :)

I was watching Curtis Davies play for Villa on Saturday, and he seems like a rock at the back.
