Nabil El Zhar (Liverpool > Levante)

Call me crazy but I think that El Zhar will actually turn out to be a real late bloomer, similar to how Jovanovic was, and could have been a very good squad player.

Was quality in reserve. Not good enough for Liverpools first team, although Rafa considered him a lucky charm. No offense meant but he has probably moved to somewhere that suits his level

One year left on his contract.  Also, it's Talksport - I'd be double checking any figures they claim to be true (not saying it isn't but not saying it is either).

I agree, who wouldn't pounce on the opportunity to play for Liverpool? I know I would. The fact that he has high wages is the fault of our previous regime, not El Zhar's. The same goes with the likes of Konchesky, Poulsen and Jovanovic.

He did look quite decent a couple of years ago when he was in the reserves, but when he got his chance to step up he showed he's not got the quality.

Noone knew if he was going to make the grade or not, if you look at the first few pages of this thread, people only had positive things to say about him. It's hit and miss when it comes to youngsters but unfortunately for him he couldn't make it.

Either way Im guessing thats were hes staying due to the fact hes tripe and his contract doesn't expire till next summer
