My dad and I are avid Liverpool supporters and have only been to watch Liverpool play at Anfield once but would like to go to this game but trying to get tickets is so hard.
I'm a member of the Liverpool supporters club, an e-season ticket holder but have been unsuccessful every time I enter the ballot for home games, I have tried to phone the ticket office but no luck and I've sent off postal applications but have always received a letter saying sorry but you are unsuccessful this time.
I would like to give my Dad a Christmas present and also he is to celebrate his 70th birthday this season so I would like to take him to this game and also travel to Liverpool on the Friday to have a tour of Anfield and visit the museum and then stay in an hotel Friday night and then go to the game on the Saturday.
Can anyone tell me how I can get hold of 2 x tickets (1xadult and 1xover 65) or the most successful way of purchasing tickets for this fixture?

I am travelling to Anfield from Ireland for the Hull game. I am Lookin for a ticket and would be extremely thankful if anyone could help me out.

If not, even some advice on where i might look for one when i get over would be brilliant.

Out of interest which areas of the ground are classed as restricted and severely restricted?

Most of the restricted are in the main stand due to the stancions, or the very back of the lower Anny Road, where the morons decide to place the roof too low.

Severely restricted is in the paddock behind Dean Windass' fat head (if he's on the bench).

Fine, Fine and there is no upper Kop but the view from the back is fine

I see i have always been a bit like upper annie road cause i thought that it was the restricted seats up there however there doesnt seem to be too many around! Severely restricted is that just sat behind a post or something! Ive lost some tix on this fact dammit Thought top of the kop,,,heh top of the kops a liverpool version of top of the pops anyway always thought that would of been a bit like cant see as well!

Restricted are not bad, never had Severely restricted but would be right behind a pillar, back of the kop is further away from the action on the pitch but its the best place to go and help generate an atmosphere

already got mine from the official supports club merseyside branch allocation scheme, will be attempting to get one for my father as his birthday is the 14th (the day after for the logically inept)

every e-season ballot attempt is unsuccessful so i wont be holding my breath, i guess i'll just get him £37 worth of socks from the heritage market, or maybe matalan if im feeling like pushing the boat out

The worst restricted I've had is in the Paddock behind a stancion. It cut the space between the edge of the box and the corner flag out. Great view of the rest of the pitch though.

my view for marseille is block MA, which has a stancion restricting the view, not sure how bad it will be though

just wondering, im part of the merseyside branch supporters club, i was going to give my allocated hull ticket to my dad as his 45th birthday is the next day, as a present from such a loving son, just wondering if anyone knows if id be in violation of my allocation status if i did?

And the atmosphere's the best in the ground.

hello there,hotel and train booked and now we have no tickets(stitched up,long story).Please help....I am begging for 2 tix for the Hull game.Desperate.Shocking. Headache.Losing plot...Help!Only consolation -top of the league tonight.

Tried the Season ticket Ballot without success and tried phoning last Tuesday when they went on general release but couldn't get through to even the call que!!

Flight and hotel booked but ticketless . . . !!

Don't fancy paying some rip off merchant £200 + of my hard earned cash for them!

As far as im aware they are sold out, unless your a member or you pay a tout im not sure if there would be a way

wish i knew a way to help you pdred, but everyone i know who is going the game won't give their ticket up as Hull has been everyones favourite team this season giving the big middle finger to the conventional league formalities of new comers coming in and fighting relegation and instead fighting for europe!
