Apple Store Mac's and iPod Sale

I've managed to order myself a Macbook Pro after years of going on about it.  Same kind of deal.  With the missus working in a school I've got a similar deal plus I get a free iPod.  I already have the phone so I decided to get that 120Gb iPod so I can stick all my tunes on.

Being a geek I'm obviously excited.  The specs are actually better than my desktop Mac so I've got a boss excuse now to do my work sitting in the sunshine.

I'm thinking of getting a Mac desktop soon. The specs are miles better than my desktop PC at the moment. Don't even use my desktop anymore.

I think they've all had an upgrade in specs as well.  But I think the new OS, Snow Leopard is out early Autumn.

About £1000+. It all depends how you customise it.

Very much worth it in my mind

I have had one for 3 years now with ZERO problems and I am not sure a Windows machine lasted me longer than a year without a breakdown, shutdown, or major error on startup.

I love it and will continue buying Apple products for my computers
