Best topic I ever started

One of those games where we would of used to bottle it. The chance to go top, the chance to capitalise on both City and Arsenal dropping points and one of those we should win. And after the first 10-15 minutes where we'd already squandered a couple of easy chances, it looked like we hadn't bottled it - it was just going to be one of those games where we couldn't score. Then Sadio Mane scored the first and the flood gates opened.

And because of it, we're top of the League.

Happy F***ing days! Enjoy today Reds because it's been a long F***ing time since we could enjoy a day like this. Sitting on the top of the pile and very deserving if I do say so. We've ticked every box that has been asked of us so far. We're just twatting teams left right and centre. Goals from all over the pitch. Absolutely made up.

Some will say City's win today was much more impressive - away to Arsenal. And they would be right. So lets not kid ourselves. We face an almighty fight to get in front of City. We will need to amass points the way City do. As it stands we are second favourites and we need a very big improvement from our form from last season.

Never realised this thread was 35 pages long.  We've been top quite a few times then over recent years.  Fingers crossed it's lively in this topic in May eh?

How are yeah my old Aussie mate.    You missed me during close season.  Kills me to say it but you cu*ts look good this year.  At worse you'll finish runners up this season but stated on another thread you'll win your first Trophy in 10 years ( had to get that in (    )) Im leading towards the FA Cup purely on the basis I just can't see pass the blue side of Manchester  which isn't very big anyway 

Looking forward to our rants/raves/banter over the next 10 months again.

One thing is fairly clear already, it will be us or Citeh, Arsenal look in disarray and Chelsea were made to look good by a dreadful Huddersfield who I think will fight it out with Cardiff for bottom place. Manure looked ok, but I think Maureen is the issue there and Spurs are Spurs.

Yeah but you said we'd struggle against West Ham yesterday so I'll take anything at this moment in time.
