Down to 22 points, mate! 22!

If we lose 7 of 10 and they win their next 11, we're history!

Sorry but who on here is saying we are doomed? I still think we'll win the League at a canter and I still fancy us for CL as well.

If City lose / drop points in 2 out of their next 3 (United away, Arsenal home (game in hand) & Burnley at home) it's still possible for us to win it at Goodison isn't it?

We currently need 4 wins but that's relying on City also winning every single game between now & the end of the season. They'd have played 3 Premier League games by the time we play Everton on Monday 16th, so providing they somehow drop points in two of those and we beat Bournemouth tomorrow, am I right in thinking we could clinch it at Goodison?

They'd have to lose 2 games before we play Everton.

They can currently get 90 points so if they lost 2, they could only total 84 points.

A win tomorrow takes us to 82, meaning a win over Everton would total 85

Everton at Goodison, they are playing alot better since the beat down in December we gave them. Plus we embarrassed them with our kids. They will want to make things right, this will be a very physical and tough game against them. Honestly, with our slight dip in form, I would be OK with a draw there. We have had some unpleasant games there lately, besides the Mane winner in 2016.

Yeah that will be a tough game as will Citeh away, I'm actually not counting on points in either one of those although a draw is perfectly possible against the bitters, but there are plenty of games between now and the end for us to pick up the 12 points required, things would really have to go spectacularly wrong for us to F**k this up, plus I do not think Citeh will win all their games, I actually fancy Utd against them and the Arse might even be able to upset them if they one of their good games.

Just win the title and close the all time gap to MU. But if we drop against Madrid next week it will be a long season. We better give 100%, not 99.99 against them, but I don't doubt that for one second.

WE can now win the Premier League title without kicking another ball.

Jürgen Klopp's side beat Bournemouth 2-1 on Saturday and next face Everton on Monday, 16 March at Goodison Park - but the trophy will already have red ribbons on it if the unlikely happens and holders Manchester City lose their next three games.

Pep Guardiola's men travel to Manchester United on Sunday, followed by games at Etihad Stadium against Arsenal on Wednesday and Burnley next Saturday.

If, as is perhaps more likely, City win all three of their games rather than losing them then Liverpool still only require a maximum of nine points from their remaining nine games to clinch their first title since 1990.

BBC Sport has crunched the numbers to nail down the permutations for Liverpool becoming champions again.

When is the earliest Liverpool can win the league?
The only guarantee the Reds have is that three wins from nine games will be enough to be crowned champions, regardless of what their rivals do.

Three victories would put the Reds on 91 points, with Manchester City only able to reach a maximum of 90 points by winning all 11 of their remaining games.

Liverpool's third game from this point of the season happens to be against City at the Etihad on 5 April.

      Huge Champions League game Wednesday.

Next league game is at Everton. That's it.

So frustrating that we lost to Watford or it would only be the 6 points needed.

Seeing loads of people saying 2 wins and a draw will do it and trying to do the maths in my head and I am getting different amounts bearing in mind the third game is Man City, very confused. Can anyone clarify for certain is it 3 wins or 2 wins and a draw and why? Haha

Pretty sure it’s 2 wins and a draw providing City drop points  before we play them, otherwise it’s 3 wins.

It would have been 2 wins and a draw had we beaten Watford.

But in all honesty, we should be aiming for nothing less than wins.

Well if that’s the case it’s still three wins that’s needed

It's still two wins and a draw if the draw is vs. City. If City draw vs. us and win their other 10 matches, they finish with 88 points. If we draw vs. them and win two more, that's 89 for us. Champions.

Yes Robbie, you’ve nailed it. If City draw with us, we stay the same margine apart, but they’ve got one game less to make it up !
