WAG Robbed At Knifepoint

The wife of Premier League striker Roque Santa Cruz has been threatened with a knife during a robbery at their home.

Giselle, 24, was left "badly shaken" but unhurt after the burglary at their home in Bowden, Cheshire.

The thieves snatched thousands of pounds worth of jewellery in the raid.

It is believed the Blackburn Rovers' star's two children were also in the house at the time the three men forced their way into the property but were not threatened.

A friend of the Paraguay-born footballer said: "He's very upset and so is his wife. It was a terrible ordeal for her. He's just so grateful Giselle and the kids weren't hurt."

The 27-year-old was away at the time of the robbery for his club's game against Portsmouth on Sunday.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said they are investigating the knifepoint robbery.

Looks like it's not just Liverpool players that are having their house' targeted. Even though it's not a good thing whats happened it's good to see that she did'nt get hurt.

I'm sure this won't get as much coverage as the Liverpool ones.
