You're spoiling the effect of this thread by hurtling it towards a second page. ;)

      Disgusting.

Only yesterday I switched mine on and I must have been waiting around 11 seconds for it to completely load.

      Very poor.

In the absence of any problems, just thought I'd let you know that Picasa is now available for the Mac.

Your basing your opinion on using it in a shop for ten minutes? :D

Didn't bother with Microsoft Office.  Went with OpenOffice - does everything more than adequately.

If you get any good at Flash let me know.

Gonna have a lay about with it tomorrow night.

Only going with Microsoft Office because I'm so used to it because it's on the Mac's at college. I was going to get iWork but seen as I'm getting Office for free I decided against it ;).

On OpenOffice Base can you save into a file type that will open on Microsoft Access 2007?

Right. I am stuck now. How do you uninstall something if it doesn't have an uninstall icon?

As far as I am aware nothing 'installs' so to speak.  Nothing goes in to the registry or anything like it does with windows.  You just remove the program from the Applications menu don't you?
