Only yesterday I switched mine on and I must have been waiting around 11 seconds for it to completely load.

In the absence of any problems, just thought I'd let you know that Picasa is now available for the Mac.

MAC's are sh*t.  I was using one in HMV in Liverpool One to access Facebook last Saturday.  Absolutely dire!

Getting Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Microsoft Office for Mac off a mate at college tomorrow.

Didn't bother with Microsoft Office.  Went with OpenOffice - does everything more than adequately.

Only going with Microsoft Office because I'm so used to it because it's on the Mac's at college. I was going to get iWork but seen as I'm getting Office for free I decided against it .

On OpenOffice Base can you save into a file type that will open on Microsoft Access 2007?

Right. I am stuck now. How do you uninstall something if it doesn't have an uninstall icon?

Wow! 2 pages to this thread - must be loads of problems with macs.  I'm not gonna get one of those.

As far as I am aware nothing 'installs' so to speak.  Nothing goes in to the registry or anything like it does with windows.  You just remove the program from the Applications menu don't you?
