As far as I am aware nothing 'installs' so to speak.  Nothing goes in to the registry or anything like it does with windows.  You just remove the program from the Applications menu don't you?

Ah it's sorted now. I read somewhere that Mac's don't have a registry. Could be the reason why it's more immune to virus'.

Them days of a long install and restarting and all that sh*t just don't exist.  And it's blooming great.

Believe it or not, my chemistry teacher's Mac crashed a few weeks ago. He's probably one person in 1,000,000 to have a Mac that crashed

Shows how sophisticated they are though now that they can even operate a car.

Haven't had a full crash yet, although Firefox did crash once.  (Do Mac's even have a Ctrl-Alt-Del? You can't see the letters on those keys on my PC keyboard anymore!)

I doubt most Mac users have never heard of a computer "crashing". They've never experienced it before or for a very long time.

Instead of the ole C-A-D you just force quit, can't remember the key combination.  Can't wait for the new OS to come out. 10.5 is just too big for me, liked 10.4 better, if it had workspaces I'd downgrade.  Had to spend hours deleting all the language scripts in all the programs, but it's worth it.
