Apologies if your favourite isn't in the list, but you can still say which yours is and preftably why. Here's my favourite 10, in no particular order.

      Only Fools and Horses
      Dad's Army
      Porridge
      Royle Family
      The Office
      Rising Damp
      Steptoe and Son
      Auf Wiedersehen Pet
      Fawlty Towers
      Blackadder
      Other

It really depends on the mood I'm in but if push came to shove I'd have to say me personal fave is Porridge. It constantly makes me laugh because of how clever the jokes in the show are. I absoloutely adore the relationship between the in mates and the prison officers. It's a shame that the four main actors (Barker, Beckinsale, McKay and Wilde) have now passed away but it'll always be remembered as the best sitcom by me.

      What's yours?

Why are you apologising if you have missed any out? That's your top ten and a fine top ten if I do say so myself!

Fawlty Towers never fails to make me laugh.

      Porridge was a pure class!

Only Fools And Horses was a gem.

      The Royal Family was sublime.

And Blackadder will never be beaten. Possibly my favourite out of your top ten. Not much can beat them as most of them are all classics.

The only one I'd say I'm not fond of is Men Behaving Badly. It was alright but it very rarely had me in stitches like all the others you have mentioned.

Open All Hours is another of my fav's. Ronnie Barker was brilliant in that.

Early Doors was good I thought as well. Shame it was a bit too similar to the Royal Family.

Coupling used to have me in stitches as well. Very well written. The Jeff having too many legs episode done me in to bits!

My top ten in no particular order,

Are you being served ? -with Mrs Slocombes pussy!

Dads Army – “Don’t tell him pike!”

Steptoe and Son- “You dirty old man.”

Some mothers do av em- “The cats done a whoopsie in my beret.”

Blackadder (first series)- “I have a cunning plan my Lord.”

It Aint arf Hot Mum (early episodes)- Meet the gang cos the boys are here.

      Phoenix Nights
      - "You could set your watch by my arse" –Brian Potter

The Likely Lads-“ I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.”- Terry Collier

      Only When I Laugh- “I’m H, A, P, P, Y I know I am im sure I am”

The Royle Family-“These underpants cost a pound and ive got fifty pence worth stuck up me a**e!”- Jim Royle

Its hard to nail it down to ten when you think about it, I also like most of DLS’s list except the office, I just didn’t find it funny and I think there’s no half way you either love it or hate it.

And after seeing el batez list can i add that i love, On the Buses and Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie ;D

Anybody remember "Mind Your Language"? I thought there were bits that were funny in it, very rarely gets a mention as one of the best though.

Only When I Laugh with Norman, Figis, Glover, Gupter and Dr Thorpe. That's one I'd forgotten about, so cheers for the reminder Glenbuck.

I've gotta put Auf Wiedersehen Pet in the list of me faves. It's just classic, the latest series wasn't but the first three are top draw. Got series 1 and 2 on dvd now, gonna the third series for me birthday. Gonna get the fourth series as well, just to have the full set but don't really rate it.

Anybody who hasn't seen it, I suggest you do. I do feel though it's a show for the working class, not sure how many upper class folk would find it funny.

Three Geordies, a Brummy, a Cockney, a Bristol bloke and of course a Scouser. Very very funny, can't believe I missed it out of me origional ten. It's gone in now in place of Men Behaving Badly which out of the ten is the least funniest.

Another one I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned as of yet is the Young Ones. Even if you don't like the show you really should watch the University Challege episode, it has some great comedy in it.

No particular order...just from the top of my head...

      Friends -   (Phoebe...crazy)
Till Death  (That dude from E.L. Raymond)
War at home ( The whole family is nuts)
How I met your mother  (Barney is...lege...wait for it.................ndary)
Will and Grace ( The first 3 seasons were pretty funny)
My family ( Another wacky family)
Martin ( Had to remove Sanford & Son to include this...grew up on both sitcoms basically)
Arrested Development ( I guess crazy families make me laugh)
Curb your enthusiasm ( Larry ...that's all I'm saying)
King of Queens (Unique mix of characters there)

I'm 27 years old - that should justify my selection...

      Mine is Seinfeld.

I never tire of it as  it always gives me a laugh. The ensemble of quirky characters is top notch.

Curb Your Enthusiasm also is quite good.

I love The Simpsons and South Park also.

I love Seinfeld, i don't think anything is as consistently funny as Seinfeld from episode to episode.

South Park is really funny at times, but some episodes are so stupid there's no point to them at all.
