On this thread, there is mention of only two english players . . . . . Gareth Barry, we don't even need him. David Wheater a possibility.

Forget buying more imports, we should be building with english players. If the 6+5 rule comes in, then at least we would already have started preparing.

Renato Augusto is a very good player with excellent facilities. Good passes, nice dribblings.
But he has not much experience. He's be playful and he would go under in England.

I've seen it in training and much games.
His character is very nice. He's learning german and he can speak english good.
I think, in 2 years, he can be a good player for Pool. But not yet.

Every time I see this thread here on top I hope there will be a new rumour about him

As a said before, I rate him highly, and I also think he is a great guy. We have many things in common, like being from Rio, Flamengo fan since a child, and he used to live about 10 min from my home... only small difference is our football talent. haha

Also, I did watch him playing for Leverkusen since my long post in the 1st page, and I liked what I saw

He was voted 3rd best player in the Bundesliga so far by the players.

He finished behind only Ribery and Ibisevic (the top scorer).

why should we go for the 3rd best if we can get the best...it's a waste of money and time. bundesliga not the best option to find a good player...look at munich. even at their best, they got screwed by the catalans.

But catalans are excellent and munich played awfully. They lost v wolsburg 5:1 nad with barca 4:0.

i'm not saying about the young talents...sure they are exciting prospect but what i'm saying are the established players in bundesliga...we got crap from them (voronin and degen). if you want to go for bundesliga then go after the young ones!

I watch a lot of Bundesliga football and this guy is a good player but i don't reall know why we need him. To me, he is a central player and not a winger. No thanks.

i think bundesliga is the perfect platform to make crap players looks good...don't get me wrong here...bundesliga is a good league, but not good enough compared to PL

If i was buying from germany i'd be getting Diego..

IMO, i don't rate him. i think he'll be a waste of space
