This one will be tighter than most think I believe, I think if we are tight and bellamy can get in behind them with pacy runs we can get a good result here 2-0 to the red men.

It's ok naming your team to play Bordeaux on Wednesday night, but you have to think about the game at weekend v's Moanchester Urinals. We cannot afford any more injuries and it would be plain stupid to risk any player recovering from a knock - ie. Kuyt, Sissoko, Fowler etc.
I know we should be playing our strongest team week in week out, but for me the weekend game is massive. We already have had to listen to the Blue sh*te gloating, and I could not bear to listen to the scumbags gloat and to be 11 points behind them so early on.
At least in the Champions League you have chances to make up from bad results and still go through, but the league is dissapearing fast before us and a win at weekend is a must.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying rest all the better players, but this game is when we do need the squad rotation, and don't be suprised if Sir Rafa puts in a few suprise names.
Maybe a win in France will kickstart our season and we need everyone to get behind our lads and give them our full support. Come on redmen !!!!!!

In response to Mr Tommo's post,

Jan Molby was saying on Radio City after the Blackburn game that Rafa concentrates too much on 'the next game' - the 'next game' never comes.

He can't pick a weakened side to face Bordeaux thinking ahead for the United game, because then when he gets to the United game he will be thinking about the 'next game'.

It's only October.  We've got a big squad and are capable of handling the average number of injuries.

In my mind it's pretty simple.

Pick the best side against Bordeaux.

      See what happens and then...

Pick the best side against United.

      Then let's see what happens.

Well they reckon that Kuyt has only a 20 percent chance to play, Gerrard and Agger are out, and Momo is unlikely.
