      Comic Books/Graphic Novels
      Jan 04, 2009 07:57:43 pm
Am an avid comic book reader but have somewhat let my reading slip of late - currently re-reading Watchmen. I may opt for The Killing Joke graphic novel for my next read...

Thought as there's no thread on the forum specific to comic books I'd start one to discuss the topic ;)

      Any takers?

I vaguely remember having a few James Bond type novels when I was a youngster.  I notice the Watchmen is out shortly at the cinema.

As for my last graphic novel - it was probably The Simpsons which I got last Christmas....  :f_whistle:

I suppose only the ones that go one for four pages count.

Watchmen movie due in March as long as the legal case doesn't drag on. Does Viz still get published?

Am covering comic book reviews on my blog now - after negotiating a deal with a retail house to supply them to me for reviewing purposes  ;)

Looks like I'm going to be doing alot more reading this year!

All comic books qualify - Commando was one I use to get from my grandad...woah a old memory that I'd forgotten!

Am just reading the new Buffy, which isn't through choice but I did kinda like the tv show.
