wow, unfortunately I really don't see Wenger giving up one of his young talents up, especially after Flamini left and left a big hole they still haven't filled yet.  Of course, it would be great if Walcott came, hes horrifyingly fast down the line

No doubt that I would take him, but I can't really see him leaving Arsenal, they probably will give him an extended contract with another 20,000 on top of that.

Never gonna happen.  The reason the contract extension's been delayed is cos Ivan Gazidis had to work his notice at MLS.  He started his new post as Arsenal MD this month.
TW will sign a new contract soon enough.
Tell you what  though, why not take Nicky Bendtner as a swap for Babel.  Hell I'd even drive Bendy to Anfield myself if you want...

Was this report legit though? Could he have gone for this much should a team have approached?

Bendtner is all yours mate, enjoy!

PS: Would you take a swap deal, Ryan for Theo?

@ Crouchy: Yes the report is legit cos it's how the tribunal would determine how much the host club would get for amount of time the player spent at the club.
But that's theory.  I don’t think any top flight club would let one of their prized assets go for that kind of money.

And as much as I admire Babel I wouldn’t swap TW for him.

C’mon man, Bendy for Babel’s a decent swap.  We get a winger you get a target man.

      Everyone’s a winner! ;)

Fair enough, i'd carry Babel on my back to the Emirates from Sydney for Theo.

As for jolly old Nick, i think the less said about him the better.
