From the camera angle I had, when Joshua threw the uppercut that effectively ended the fight, it looked like he'd taken klitschko's head off.
      Then he calmly finished him.

That answers my questions about how he (Joshua) is when he gets properly hit as well.

      The man's a beast.

That was a classic fight.  Built up in a good way without spitting or throwing chairs.  It was a fight of two gladiators youth won experience.  Klitchko needed to keep him busier.  AJ took a few rounds to recuperate.

Standing ovation to the guy who fooled many this on twitter during tonight's fight. May just have won the internet.

Thought AJ was the better in the first few rounds but as it went on Klitschko looked to be using his experience, was starting to take control and I thought AJ was in trouble, so far as Klitschko getting the win. That 11th round though, AJ just unloaded and battered him.

Good build up and a good fight. As good as AJ is looking though, I think Klitschko in his prime was better. Obviously we will never really know but IMO, if they had that fight with both in their prime, Klitschko would have got the win.

AJ looking like he will be going on for great things in the boxing world though. Can't see anyone stopping him.

I can't see anyone really stopping AJ now. What a performance from both.

Klitschko still has it and I don't want to see him retire.

What's next for AJ? Most likely Fury or Wilder. I can see him knocking out Wilder in Las Vegas. The fight with Fury will be more interesting - his awkward style could cause problems. He's also pretty fast for a heavyweight and I don't know if AJ would contemplate cutting some pounds to face him.

Ryan Burnett looked the real deal earlier tonight, won every round against Lee Haskins and had him on the floor three times.

Absolutely shocking scorecard from the American judge though. Still not sure whether it was a mix up on his paper (as in he'd wrote the wrong score in the wrong box) or that he's just a really, really sh*t judge.

Mayweather hasn't boxed for a while now. No doubt he still has it but will be rusty. What I am more curious about is if things are going against McGregor, is he going to pull out some of his UFC moves?! He's got his career in that, maybe if he's losing he will do it without even thinking.

Mega money in this fight though.

      Imagine if he did!

Still think even a semi retried Mayweather will beat McGregor easily.

Can't believe there's actually people out there backing McGregor despite the way Mayweather routinely outclassed HOF and future HOF boxers. Not a chance.

The undercard should be decent though; I reckon Gervonta Davis will make an appearance, and I think Mayweather has previously said he'd like Badou Jack on too. There was also talk of Michael Conlan a couple of months ago given the McGregor connection.

Proper fight coming up this weekend though: Kovalev vs Ward II. I'm going for Ward on points but this is a genuine 50/50. I hope whatever happens, the result is more conclusive than last time but we'll probably see a rubber match anyway if Kovalev wins.

Hopefully it's third time lucky for Paul Smith out in Germany too.

Surely everyone knows that Mc Gregor is going to lose hands down.  It is going to be totally one sided.  I also think that Mayweather will have made sure that Mc Gregor doesn't even think to go outside boxing.   Maybe people think that on his way down he will try to kick out at Floyd.   No chance.  I would be very surprised if Mayweather doesn't stitch that in via his contract negotiators.  Nothing serious will happen it will mayweather fighting against a punch bag.  The guy hasn't had a single professional fight and he is going in the ring with the smartest fighter of his generation.  How have they managed to pull this off and made such a big event.   Better fights will be seen in the local gyms.

Yeah, Dana White has said that there'll be serious financial implications for McGregor if anything like that was to happen.

To be fair, I'd love to see him kick F**k out of Mayweather

The fight is going to be an absolute joke.

Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers ever and the best defensive fighter I've ever seen. McGregor has never even had a fight.

He's going to be absolutely battered.
