Bigger goals?

Andy Gray was talking about increasing the size of the goals this other week - about 6 inches either side (oo er) and at the crossbar.

What does everyone think?

Apparently goals increased in size in the late 1890's so it isn't something that has ALWAYS been set in stone.

I think it's not too bad an idea from the bluenose tbh.

Not too keen on bigger goals.

But what about no shinpads.  Most of these Premiership players roll about like they haven't got them on anyway, so at least when we see the blood pouring through their socks we won't accuse them of diving anymore.

What about a double sized goal - with two keepers.

I agree with you crazy horse and anyway it's not like it's his idea anyway, didn't fifa want to try this idea back in early 90s before world cup in usa.

More like Andy suggesting the idea to impress some tw*t at sky, they afterall need a return on the money they have spent on screening games.

He couldn't hit a barn door, by the way, has anyone noticed - where's Fat Franks teeth ?  has he worn them out ?  Just wondering cos i dont think i ever seen them, even when he's smiling/grimacing
