It's because I'm a Muslim and alcohol is forbidden in Islam and therefore it is also considered wrong to promote alcohol in any way and this is what the shirt does!

(I'll have to give the official store a call then as I can't find it on the online store and it is very difficult for me to visit the store as I live in Maidenhead)

It's not too bad but im not sure whether i like it or not. i think it would grow on me though, like the grey one has.

Off topic but could not resist...where in the Bible does it forbid you to drink alcohol if you are a practicing Christian. In a mass service the blood of Christ is represented by wine

Seen that picture in the daily mirror yesterday seems genuine enough , I think its nice as the stripes are meant to be gold just like the champions league training kit . Fella who awns the sport shop in kirby told me and my mate about this strip months ago reckons he had seen it at a Adidas promotion event , we didn't believe him but looks like he was right . either way its a nice kit but they should keep the grey and sack the green thing off because its awful , even my 2 kids wont wear it hahaha

I don't mind this black kit although it looks quite childish (I don't know how but it does seem like it was made for a child ) however I do like the grey kit, I have all three shirts and I do like the grey and green shirts.

Mate I'm Catholic and i'm sitting here wondering the same thing! The Bible often says of how they drank to celebrate and its the blood of Christ. Definately some other practice of Christianity.

This is off-topic, but no... apparently wine did not mean alchohol in those days, I have asked him on this and many questions, and he always has an answer, because the Bible has been interpreted wrongly. I did get him on one. I will post it in Funny Stuff when I get a chance, I need to root it out.

It's all open to interpritation, the fact the Bible was written around 1000 yrs after Christ, for me, makes things easy.

Is it me or does the shirt look more dark blue than black on that newer picture?

I think the grey one is one of the worst kits we have had, but i really like this one think the black kits look really smart.
