Ludovic Butelle (GK) - Valencia

It looks like Rafa could be going back to VALENCIA for our next signing.

We are being strongly linked with a move for Ludovic Butelle who is the reserve goalkeepr at Valencia.Rafa signed him from Metz and he could be on his way in January

Do we have a fettish for the shot stoppers or what?

Carson looks the business, Dudek has a flap now & again but is a great shot stopper, we got rid of a good one imo to Wigan (although he was a bit injury prone!)  oh, & then there's Pepe, again a good shot stopper but a bit flappy as well at times.

Do we need all these big handed fellows?  it seems a bit of a waste to have em and then put them out on loan to get experience, (Carson  etc)   and then to go into the market to get Valencia's "reserve" when we have so many is a bit odd, don't you think?

Spend money on a right sided full back to cover Finnan  yes,   not to cover the cover for the cover for the first choice keeper!

A mate of mine is good friends with Carson, and he says he's loving life at Anfield. Don't forget he is only young and that loaning him out gives him games under his belt and Prem. experience. We also have 2 promising goalkeeping talents in the names of Martin and Hansen.
Personally I can't see why we need another teams reserve keeper.

Hang on - if he's having trouble getting a game at Valencia what the hell would we want him for?

what are we even looking at a keeper for -did Carson not just sign a contract extention b4 going on loan? And aren't french keepers a bit like scottish ones too?? And if he's a reserve there would he not be a reserve here??

I personly think robert green b4 he went to WH would of been a good buy

I agree with Riena,Dudek, and carson coming back at the end of the season he will be a bench warmer : : :

Can't see Dudek being here for much longer.

we need to get shot of dudek, carson is a better keeper and dudek makes to many mistakes to be a 1st choice and he's taking up our wage bill. get rid...NOW!

but we could possibly sell him to villa, as they are out the F.A Cup, and they don't have much cover in tht posistion, they've got kiraly on an emergency loan so hopefully we could get him there. Or anywhere!!
