Was on holidays when Down played Kerry in the All-Ireland Quarter finals. But, i am delighted that the men from my county did us proud and beat Kerry. Kildare up next. Won't be easy what with McGeeney being in charge and doing very well with Kildare but i fancy our chances. Cork vs Dublin should be interesting in the other semi-final.

Its great having Kerry and Tyrone out of the football, simply because it blows the championship right open. Down and Kildare both done well in there  wins against Kerry and Meath respectively but Kildare were the more impressive to me tbh. They're quick passers and create so many chances. But Down are tough and good grafters. They'll keep in your face and push you hard until the end.

Dublin and Cork will be close, the winner will be favourites in the final but its too close to call at the moment.

I'm a Dublin fan livin but i think it'll be Cork against Kildare in the final, with Cork coming out winners.

Cork will edge it definitely. Am a dub living in Meath/Louth.

Aye mate, we are making a session out of today. I mean, someone up high is laughing scheduling the Liverpool match at 1.30 and then the Down match at 3.30. The bars are gonna make a killer today.

I moved to Liverpool a week ago for Uni and i have found a wee Irish bar just 20 yards from me so i am going their with 10 English lads to watch the match ;D will be interesting to see what they make of it.

I would love to do the enthusiastic writing like Bad boy but i haven't a clue how he did it so all i can contribute is.....

Heavy day alround for you mate. I'll be bringing (through my job) the Down fans back from Croke. The last time that I traveled back with them was '94. Omen?

Hahahahaha i have told them to get clued in to the rules before today....whether they have done so or not i have no idea. Th tw*ts decided to look at the Cork shirt online and they all bought plain white t-shirts. They have all drawn a Cork shirt on the t-shirts and are wearing them to the Irish pub today just to wind me up. I could F***ing kill them.

I shouldn't be a GAA fan (if you get my drift  ;D) but I do 'follow' Armagh football - from afar  ;D

However i'll be happy as a pig in sh*t if the Mourne Men do it.

Fair play mate. Thousands of people like you (if you catch my drift ;D) would hope for the opposite but its nice to see your putting that to one side for the day.

That picture is beezer. It was on the front of the Irish News.
