Probably our strongest team sticking in there. At last Rafa decided not to tinker for sucha big game like this!

2-0 win. Lets turn this slump around and start a marauding run with a victory here.

it had already been reported robbie wasn't even on the bench, so i expected that.  i think thats the strongest team rafa has available to him, no complaints about the starting 11 for me.

No Keane that means his future is definitely doubted.

Let's hope the lads on the pitch today can concentrate and put one over on Chelsea, and do the double over them, cos if we don't win today, that win at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season will count for nothing.

This is a massive massive game and one which only three points will do.

Subs Cavalieri, Dossena, Agger, Ngog, Benayoun, Dossena, Babel, Lucas.

I'm happy with the team, that to me is about the best we've got.

Aldo has just been going on about Ngog being on the bench but no Keane. He reckons after Ngog's performance in the reserves the other night, he doesn't warrant a place on the bench. But, there's obviously problems on that score so we'll just have to forget about it.

That's a decent team I reckon and it's well capable of beating Chelsea. They've just got to be up for it.

We have two Dossena's. One average and one bad. They're both on the bench. ;)

Starting to look that way isn't it, shame really because I really think Robbie still has a lot to offer the club.  Can't complain one bit about the starting 11 but the ommission of Keane from the bench.....AGAIN....does suprise me, especially in such a huge game....in many ways!

I 'm planning on concentrating on the match and the players who have been selected, going to wonder about the Keane business later.

Let's hope everyone is fully focused, it looks to be a very strong line-up!

Come on you mighty reds, as MsG says so well! ;)

Let's keep the Robbie Keane speculation in his thread, in any case.

To be honest, even if Keane doesn't get a game, I'd rather see him on the bench at least.

If Chelsea play like they played at OT we will have them. If they play at their peak IMO they're a better side than Manure. But I don't believe they'll beat us, I just hope we can get a goal early to calm nerves.

The XI is a good line up .. one to expect but instead on skrtel there i would've rather seen agger ..he played well against them it's about time Rafa plays him to show him that we wanna keep him ! But this Robbie situation is a little out of hand I say we should at least give him a year and see how that pans out ! Liverpool to win 2-0 ! YNWA I have faith in my team !   :aaliverpool2xt1: :kop5cf8koxp6: :scarf:

For anybody who is interested Deco and Drogba are both on the bench for Chelsea.

Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Alex, Terry, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Mikel, Lampard, Kalou, Anelka, Malouda. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Drogba, Ferreira, Deco, Mancienne, Stoch.
