      Cheltenham 2009
      Mar 02, 2009 05:53:58 pm
The four day festival starts next Tuesday, and runs till Friday, March 13. We are in a reccession but I always love a flutter. So if anyone has good tips I'd be grateful.
As horses are entered in multiple races, its hard to know who to bet on ante post. I will giving my favourites next week the day before the races are on. Hopefully make some money for you.

I'm not responsible for any losses incurred :f_wah:. Good luck ;)

      So it starts tomorrow

The first race is the supreme novices and I'm backing Torpichen(9/2). Each way value Medermit (12-16/1)------> Second

Next is the irish arkle and I'm backing I'msingingtheblues(9/1). Each way value Kalahari King(12/1)-----------> Second

For the william hill trophy I'm backing Wichita lineman(6/1) --------------->First. Each way value  Cailin Alainn (12/1)

As for the champion hurdle Binocular is the hot favourite but I'm backing Celestial Halo(9/1)----------> Second. Each way value Won in the dark (33/1)

Then the cross country chase I'm backing Garde champetre(7/2) -----------> First. Each way value Headsontheground (16/1)

Finally for the mares hurdle I'm backing Chomba Womba (7/1)  Each way value Gaspara (20/1) (NOWHERE ,my bad)

Always bet responsable. These are my selections so if you bet on my choice good luck. If you win I'll take the credit ;D but if you lose then you won't see me for dust  :f_whistle: :(

Already posted a tip for Chelt the other day (on another thread ) its The Polomoche in the 4o'clock on Wed s card.He worked exceptionally well against Binocular (fav for Champion Hurdle) at Kempton last week.At present he's 12/1 so have a little bit each way (1st 4)IF this gets beat you will find me following aw1 in his slipstream.HA HA.

AP McCoy is without doubt THE best jump jockey on this planet.NO other jockey would have forced Witchita Lineman home in that race McCoy was at his most awsome best.

Day Three   Voy Por Ustedes (2.40) & Kasbah Bliss (3.20) are both strong contenders so maybe a double is the better bet.

      1.30    Kia Kaha 8/1
2.05   Don't push it  8/1  or  Synchorised 8/1 each way
2.40   Imperial Commander 5/1 each way
3.20   Blazing Bailey  28/1 each way
4.05   Fingeronthepulse 9/1  or Ping Pong Sivola 11/1 each way
4.40  Shouldhavehadthat 15/2 or High Chimes 16/1 each way.

Triumph Hurdle WALKON @ 5/1. In the big one DENMAN @ 6/1 is an unbelievable price for a reigning champion!!Even though he's had his problems Paul Nicholls would'nt run him unless he was 100%.Also with Kauto theres always that one dodgy jump he makes in every one of his previous races.
Thought Butlers Cabin ran a crackin prep race for the National yesterday & at Aintree he will have the services of AP McCoy get on @ 10/1.
