Missing Men Game

Taken the idea from Sky Sports games, basically name a memorable match from the past (easier that way), and see if we can fill in the blanks!

Staring Line-up only.

Name the players you can, with their correct position to have them added to the team. e.g 'Gerrard - CM'


Doesn't have to be Liverpool, but don't make it ridiculous!

Or do you think it's better how we just did it?

No, that's cool - you ned to say where they play as well.  You could give half a point though if they say Riise for left back and he played midfield for instance (or say right player, wrong position).

The 1986 FA Cup Final was a Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton at Wembley. The match was played seven days after Liverpool had secured the league title, with Everton finishing as runners-up. Liverpool went on to win this match 3–1.

Right so you have to get the right position otherwise they won't be added.

It's up to the person how they deal with it if the person guessing gets the right player, wrong position. They could either say it straight or say it in a less obvious way, i.e. a wink or something

I can't answer this unfortunately, don't have a clue seeing as I wasn't alive haha, I could take a guess at a few but the ones I would have got have been said now.

Did Craig Johnston not play?  Did I have the position wrong?

If so I'll try with him on the right, not the left.
