They were almost in with a half-chance until they lost them 2 wickets just before close.

I am afraid when we wake up tomorrow morning the Aussies will be celebrating winning the Ashes and the Christmas test will be meaningless.

England messed up in the second test in a big big way.

16 years to win the Ashes back and we cock the defence up like we did!! But we are better than we shown and unlike the Aussies we have age on are side!! ;)

Total respect for Warne, he's getting on now and he's had so many injuries that he must ache in places that us normal people never knew existed! But this guy just keeps stepping up to the very top table and delivering, its rare that you get to see the best there has ever been during your life time but Shane is the all time best, Now lets hope he retires!

And Harmy's retired from one day cricket.  Not that his record was much good anyway.  Has anyone seen the squad for the one dayers against Australia and NZ.  It's a bloody joke and they'll prob be whitewashed in it too.  And the one dayers are the only matches I could get tickets for >:(

Ah well, i'll maybe see something special from KP or Monty!

This topics gone a bit quiet over the past couple of days.  I wonder why that might be ???

Even the barmy army here in Melbourne have lost interest after yesterdays debacle but the aussies are in full song, not suprised really!  Lucky I couldn't get tickets for the fourth or fifth day and saved me a few quid.  But I did get to an Irish pub last night were the barmy army headquarters was and they did cheer up a bit after several pints of guiness ;D

Thank god for that.  Has to be the most miserable effort by England so far.  A test match over in 3 days.  Are they having a laugh.  Sod the flights.  They can come home on a F***ing ship as far as I am concerned.
