Reports are that West Ham have made a £10m bid for SWP, if that's accepted, I think we should nip in and snap there hands off !!!
SWP is by far a better winger than any we've got at the moment, and may provide to be that missing link.

Yeah - I'll just send Rafa out to the money tree at Melwood.

Actually - he can take a wheelbarrow and we will have Torres as well.  ;)

sell Zenden and pennant and get SWP

Add 5 mill to it and that would be a good buy. Ony problem is that Chelsea would never ever sell us a player cause they are LOSERS!!!

SWP would never come to us Wrighty wouldnt have it, I think SWP made the biggest mistake of his career going to Chelsea, but thats another story. Chelsea would never sell any of their current squad to us or the scum unless there was something in it for them like that Ashley "overated" Cole fiasco. If the hammers get him good on em I say as even with him they represent no real threat to any of our asperations. I like SWP as a player but anything regarding him coming to us is pure speculation Im afraid, and I really think that any more money thrown into the pot is a complete waste a the moment we have a good enough squad as it is to win the EPL its just about getting them to click and start pumping out results.

theres as much chance as s.w.p coming to us as any, wrighty let him go to chelski, and hes a gunner through and through so why not us.
just hope we can raise the funds, and if chelski will sell to us.

He's a good player but he isn't good enough.

I would have actually have preferred Duff over him.

Chelsea won't sell him to us anyway so it's a pretty pointless bit of transfer speculation IMO.

Would we pick him over Pennant in their current forms? SWP looks a bit stiff and rusty getting very few games at Chelsea. I'd prefer Pennant to be honest, starting to look good. Ur prob right Smigger, his dad told him what to do at City too

Reports are circulating that Chelsea are now listening to offers of around £10m for SWP.
To be honest I think he would be a great addition to our squad, esp. for half the amount Chelsea paid 2 years ago.

think he's a quality player, however i feel theres more to come from pennant, his form in the second half of the season was much better than in the first and im hoping he can build on that. also, cant see the chavs selling to us no matter how much we bid, not like they're short of cash

Watchin the U21's play and i was impressed with James Milner gives 100% all the time. Can use both feet good crosser.

Agreed, there's definitley more to come from Pennant! I don't rate SWP at all, and would certainly take Pennant over him any day! If he goes to West Ham, fair do's as they're not exactly barking up our tree are they?

I don't think they'd sell to any direct rivals for the title, as their prime reason they bought him in the first place IMO is because of the interest from us and United. They bought him solely to deprive us and the scum of a winger, and they kept him on the bench.

I have always ben impressed by Milner his work rate is great and he can cross with both feet with a trick or two as well I know he isn't the world class player we all want but he could be a  very useful addition to the squad.

As for SWP he is a very good player who just needs games under his belt again I would prefer him to Pennant who has only had about 4 good games for us

SWP would be a great addition to the squad proven in the prem just never givin the chance with chelsea ... probally better off taken the chance on SWP than a unproving player....

I actually think Pennett has the potential to be a world better.  He's still young, improved bigtime in the latter of last season.  Wasn't fazed by the big stage of the champions league final...gave Ashley Cole a nightmare in the semi.  And he loves Liverpool...what more do you want.

true pennant is a decent player when on form , like for the tail end of last season but hes no world beater and i dont think he has the potential to be. As for SWP i think he is on his day better than pennant but never in a milliion years will chelski sell him to us and anyway he aint no world beater either so id opt for a more accomplished winger if possible.

Arrogant moron-iho has been left isloated from abramovic's rubels, the rumours of late that abramovic is keeping distance from club affairs might just be the ingredients of such a deal.  As SWP is really surplus stock and has been very ordinary at stamford bridge.  In the two years there has not been any consistency in team selection and performance by the player.  I think it is in the interest of both parties to move on, as what will be different for Swp.  I mean the set up doesn't suit him and his chances will be very limited.  As for them they need a new person ready for challenging for the position not a person that has failed for two years.

I think SWP would be a very good signing for 10m as he has the ingredients to be a world class player.  Its hard for attacking players under the current chelski set up.  It depends if he realises that its not really him but the decision that has failed.  And that he should try to find another big club to try and find his form.

I would be all for a bid for SWP.  Wasted at chelsea but when given a few chances he has done well.  Hes a flair player and thats something that chelsea dont really do, they tend to grind out results.  I think SWP for 10 million could be excellent.  My only concern is that hes very slight. ne needs to get a bit more imposing on the pitch but apart from that would be good.  Not keen on wrighty giving his views all the time on sky though everytime his sons playing. what a nightmare.
