The Shield

New series starts again tonight on Five US at 10pm.

Anyone else watch it previously? It's been on Five and FX. Everyone I mention it to hasn't a clue!

Monday nights are my new favourite times! Bar the matchdays of course!

Alot of people I've talked to like The Shield.  I tried watching a few episodes but couldn't get into it.

You ever watched The Wire CRK?  There seems to be alot of comparison or competition between both the shows.  I loved The Wire so might try harder to get into The Shield some day

I watch The Beast on Five USA, on Wednesdays.

I tell you what Patrick Swayze looks quite ill there, but he can't half look like he's kicking arse!

Every time I mention The Shield they compare it to The Wire. I've heard good things but have never seen it.

Last episode on next Monday. Got The Shield series 1-6 off Play.com for about £70. Always a winner. When this season finishes, I'll get that box set then I'm sorted!

A friend of mine recently told me to watch this series, and after I downloaded and watched the whole 1st season, I must say it was a good advice.

I'm enjoying it very much, hopefully the 2nd season will be just as good.

Yeah Vic really is the man, without him the series would be nothing. But I like Dutch a lot for some reason.

Started watching the 2nd season, I'm in the 4th episode. Good as usual so far.

yeah decent show, initially was put off by the 1st 30 mins of the pilot, thought it was crap, then gave it another go.

Looks like Kurt Angle or whatever that guy from wrestling is called.

I'm already in the 6th season and this has become one of my favourite series ever.

Brilliant.

It only gets better when famous film actors such as Anthony Anderson and FOREST WHITAKER take important roles on the show.

One of the most underrated series IMO, well it's not very famous round here, dunno how the reception was in other countries.

Got every series on DVD bar the third and imo it's F***ing brilliant, the last series, season 7 is an absolute must-see Diego!

I moved out of me Mam's for a bit a few years ago. Me and my mate I lived with literally watched seasons 1-6 on DVD every night. I then bought every series off Amazon for £11 a pop. Bargain of the century, after Paulrobbo getting that Vox for 5 ton.

Amazing programme.
