it wasnt many years ago when we used to pass the ball like that around the park.
it just seems to be that somewhere along the way, we have misplaced that skill to the game.
im not having a dig at my beloved lfc, but we seem to do abit too much of hit long - and chase.

we have the type of players at this club to just smash a high hopful ball forward to and they would catch on e.g crouch (height) bellamy and speedy (pace) kuyt (control)

Hang on a minute everybody.  I wouldn't have us down as a long-ball team at all.  We don't smash the high hopeful ball up all the time - for god's sake we have got two of the best attacking central midfields in the country - how exactly did Gerrard score at the weekend?

look im sick of seeing the defenders just pass it around once then pump it up long coz that just leaves it to a 50/50 ball in the air and we just lose possetion, we need to play the ball around with pase like arsenal do it well.and open defences up like that how we used to do it. it just shows liverpool arnt playing with much confidence and need to give it to SG and XV who will be able to hold it and play it around.
