Gerrard is the most overrated player I am ever heard of. He is regarded as world class for what he does in 15 minutes of a match. For the other 75 minutes you wouldn't even realise he was playing. If he was at United I would hate him as I hate those type of players.

To be perfectly honest, what do you expect to find when you go on another club's site? 

I would have been much more surprised if you had found a "Gerrard Appreciation Thread", or something like that!  They're going to take the piss out of our lads, the same way we do with theirs. And when they find a player as faultless as Stevie, they'll just make up some crap like you found instead!

Hmm I don't know, I didn't go out looking for this sh*te, I find it interesting to hear opinions from different supporters to be honest, even if they do support Man United.

To be fair, there are quite a few posts in that thread from Man United supporters who agree that he is the best all round player in England and that they would have loved him at United. You do get decent people that are prepared to speak the truth, but then there's the sheep that give ill educated guesses and statements that make no sense.

the sad thing about this though is that there is just an element of truth to the comment...yes, it is an exaggeration but we've all commented on stevie going missing at times. we've also noticed that our whole team is often lacking a guts-and-glory attitude compared to some other teams.

I have to say I do find this a bit rich coming from someone who openly admitted having bought a David Beckham shirt under the pretext that it wasn't very expensive. 

I could list you countless threads ripping into United's players, but there's no need, they're all over the forum! As for the Tevez thread, it has it's place. He's a fine player, and unlike 99% of United's players one I can respect, both for his talent and the fact that he doesn't get involved in the press mind-games by belittling our club.

If and when he does I'll be the first to take back the respect I have for him and shall start a thread saying he's a tosser.
