      Zenden
      Nov 28, 2006 11:32:16 am
He is not the bad all the time to be honest, i know he is a bit lightweight and he is can't fill Momo's boots but to be honest he is not too bad but yet again he is not good enough to be starting for us. He can control a pass and then string one out, his ability on the ball is not that bad i just think off the ball he is not a good player. Anyway i don't want him to ever start a game for Liverpool because he is not our quality but just sayin he is not that bad!

Also Zenden is injured for the Pompey game and Bells will be in court!

      ------------Kuyt---Crouch

      Garcia--Agger--Gerrard--Pennant

      Riise---Hyypia--Carragher--Finnan

      ----------------Reina

Injury list: Kewell, Alonso, Sissoko, Gonzalez, Zenden, Aurelio, Warnock, Bellamy (on trial)

Agger seems like a sound idea, i think Carra would be a bit lost in the middle.

I think Agger would score a scremer and then Rafa will think as using him as a midfielder... also on liverpoolfc.tv Agger told Benitez than he can play holding role but Rafa said he could use Carragher or Hyypia in CM 2morro but also said he has been talkin to Agger which sounds good

Carra started out as a central midfield player and scored on his full Debut! A cracking header against Aston Villa at Anfield! I think, if i remember correctly that was 96/97 Season! (Correct me if im wrong!)  We then moved him to left back, right back, before he settled in the centre of defence. I would like to see Agger play in centre Mid but I think Carra would just defend and complement Gerrard well. Pompy are no mugs and that Kanu is a pest!

our great leader has this to say on the matter on .tv

Rafael Benitez has revealed that Sami Hyypia was his initial favourite to play alongside Steven Gerrard in the heart of the Liverpool midfield tonight.
With Bolo Zenden joining Momo Sissoko and Xabi Alonso in the treatment room, Benitez is analysing his options in midfield ahead of this evening's clash with Portsmouth.

Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger have also been mentioned as possibilities by the manager, but he admits his first thought was to use Hyypia as the holding midfielder.

"The first name that came into my head to replace Bolo was Sami, honestly," he said.

"People have been saying that Daniel's emergence might mean the end for Sami, but maybe Sami can play as a holding midfielder. I need to check whether he has the tactical movement and awareness you need playing there, but it's not difficult.

"You just need to be clever. What do you need to do? In Argentina, it's their number 5, a holding midfielder who's a centre back playing a bit higher. I've spoken to him two or three weeks ago about that. Now I just need to think about which option to take."

How is Bolo.  Is he near to a return to the first team?

Because if he is...do we need to arrange a 'little accident'....

We'll get him after his daily trip to the hairdressers.  He won't see us coming.  He will be too busy looking at his reflection in shop windows.

I personally can't wait for the summer.  Can he not go now.  Somewhere in the world it must be their summer transfer window.

Maybe he might be better at baseball - Texas Rangers?
