I predicted a 1-0 earlier but said kuyt would score.
Great defending all night, little concerned about letting robben have so many shots with his left but apart from that we played this game perfectly.

Right, My first post here. Just want to say well done to the boys tonight. Thought it was looking like we were going to have to do all the work back in Anfield. I've never been convinced of Yossi's ability but i'm glad i've been proven wrong over the last few games. He deserved his goal tonight Lets hope both Stevie and Nando are fully fit for the return leg. Is it too early to start talking about number 6

F***ing hell, Eamon Dunphy just had a right go at the club there. He says the way we play is a curse to football, and we're ruining youg school boy football because managers are copying our style of play. He said he wanted to say it when we were winning and not losing!? He had a nicelittle rant before John Giles stood up for us.

yeah watched that but was afraid to relay on just in case i got slaughtered. Dunphy never seizes to amaze me.. he loves Man U. I agree with Dunphy in respect to Trapatoni.. but he is over board when it comes to Benitez..

You're not wrong there, I've been very disappointed with the last few home games (atmosphere wise), just why is it the crowd don't get behind the lads the way they do in Europe..........it just could mean those extra few points!

One person who hasnt had much of a mention yet who I think was outstanding was Skrtel. He was a FCUKING ROCK! He never put a foot wrong whole game and was always where he was needed. Kept Raul quiet and dealt with everything in the box.

I see Arjen Robben is still a diving little c**t.......some things never change
