Right kind of like a top trumps kind of game..... you get 1 point for appearances and 3 points for each goal scored

I have assembled a team of players who had some input in the 90's wether it be for one season or the majority of the 90's.

GK Bruce Grobelaar      440 appearnces    o goals = 440 points
RB David Burrows         146 appearnces    3 goals = 155 points
CB Alan Hansen            620  appearnces  14 goals = 662 points
CB Sami Hypiia              317 appearnces   22 goals = 383 points
LB Stig Bjorneby           139 appearnces     2 goals = 145 points
RM Steve Macmanaman  274 appearnaces  46 goals = 412 points
CM Jamie Redknapp       239 appearnaces   31 goals = 332 points
CM Steve McMahon        204 appearnces    29 goals = 291 points
LM John Barnes             316 appearnces     84 goals = 568 points
CF Peter Beardsley         131 appearnces     46 goals = 269 points
CF Patrik Berger             148 appearnces     28 goals  = 232 points

      Combined points total  = 3889

any one fancy making a team from another era and see how they compete ?

If we're allowed more than one then you can JD for Julian Dicks into the 90's squad.

Ad can also be Alf Hanson. Not sure when he actually played but he was certainly our player.

CRK can take Jackie Balmer for a few of our earlier squads where we look a little short.

And for the creator of the thread we can throw in Alan Arnell and Alan A'Court

Just a few off the top of me head.

      Mine is R.P

Whilst as far as i can tell i don't share initials with a player i do however share the same initials as the late, great Robert "Bob" Paisley ;D

I'll settle for managing you all ;)

80's team, did what I could, bit of a 4-5-1 going on due to limited choice of players.

      GK DLS - Bruce Grobbelaar - 440 appearances 0 goals = 440 points
      LB andylfcynwa - Avi Cohen - 24 appearances 1 goal = 27 points (F**k!)
      CB Ad - Alan Hansen - 620 appearances 14 goals = 662 points
      CB mattmcg - Mike Marsh - 101 appearances 6 goals = 119 points
      RB Dadorious - David Burrows - 1988-1993 - 146 appearances 3 goals = 155 points
      LM CRK - John Barnes - 316 appearances 84 goals = 568 points
      CM kenny - Kevin Sheedy - 5 appearances 2 goals = 11 points (ARSE!)
      CM Reslivo - Graeme Souness 359 appearances 55 goals = 524 points
      CM shrey024 - Steve McMahon - 204 appearances 29 goals = 291 points
      RM MsGerrard - Craig Johnston - 271 appearances 40 goals = 391 points
      CF paulboo - Peter Beardsley - 131 appearances 46 goals = 269 points

      Total = 3457 points

      Nearly, but not quite!

Anyone interested in doing a Top Trump team like I and RedLFCBlood have done, you don't only have to go by decade.

For example, a pre-First World War team, an all British or other nationality team, or just your favourite players from the list.

      Have fun!

If you're unsure of player details, have a look here: http://lfchistory.net/players.asp

Added, also as Sam Hardy and Steve Heighway (who I could have squeezed nicely into my 80's team, in retrospect. :().

      Edit: yes it would have

Well, there was 11 in the team, but two of them had barely played unfortunately. ::)
