I can't believe we have drawn them - are they going to be 'Chelsea' of this season.  No doubt we will get them in the Champions League as well.  So it's going to be another massive struggle to get some FA Cup Tickets...  :confused-smiley-013:

So we have them on the 19th December at Anfield for the League Cup Quarters and now the FA Cup 3rd Round at Anfield on the 6th or 7th January.

Plus we owe them for the league result...

Obviously we should, and could, win all three but I think in all honesty I would take a Carling Cup Quarter Final win over an FA Cup third round win.

      Your thoughts?

Cant see why we cant do them on all three counts, FA Cup, Carling Cup and return league match at Anfield, they dont seem to have much luck against us in cup runs   ;)   :action-smiley-065:

It doesn't matter who we get in the cup! If your going to win it you've got to beat every team, and you will play the better teams at some stage. Reds win for me and we do owe them a result! Every dog has its day, and i fancy us to beat anyone at home. After this game we will be hearing a lot more Whining for Arsen "I didn't see it" Wenger! :)

      Tough cup. ;)

Agree that we owe Arsenal.  Should be a good couple of games against them.   Not sure on the Terry Henry situation - maybe he will be out.

Just hope we don't get them in the Champions League as well - would be a bit too boring if we had 6 games against them.

Well if we are 'gooner' win it then we'll have to beat the bigger teams in the competition.  :laughing-smiley-014:

Seriously, the unrest with Henry could play in our favour.......lets put a bid in for him, sign him on 1st Jan...and then let him score hat trick in the FA cup game .....    (I know dreaming again...;D)

Lets get them early so we don't have to look at the cockney mugs in the later rounds we owe them one. Bring them on and then bring the scum on in the next round.

Well we got a bonus Henry is out for 6 weeks, with his neck injury, and if he plays in the fa cup game he wont be properly fit, if we want to retain our cup we gotta beat the big teams though.

Arsenal... at home... in the Carling and FA Cup's...

It's at home guys... we play well at home. We'll win, not an easy one [because when I say that we always seem to struggle]... but wins all the same :)
