I guess this maybe counts? 5 Times event in Adelaide, these three were absolute crackers. Laughs aplenty, Didi & Vladi had some great banter between them, and Luis doing Scouse when imitating Carra telling him he wasn't taking the penalty to bring us back to 3-3 was worth price of admission alone :D

Also my wife had a whole spiel ready to go to talk to Luis in Spanish (she's decently fluent being her heritage) but when he flashed a smile and waved us over, asked us how we were and all that, she was just star struck, speechless, and in love :lmao: The f**ker's still got it!

Not sure if that was a recorded interview.

Sure I recognise the Irish guy's voice who was talking to him.

The Irish voice was probably Paddy (Berger),i will wait for the onslaught telling me he wasn't Irish.

      It's unreal.

Literally siting at Tru Street in Trafford Centre for 5 minutes and Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard walk past me with some friends. Have to do better than that hoody and that cap when I'm around lads.

      Mad.

Went for something to eat in Chester about 18 months ago, ended up going into the back room of the restaurant that was sort of like a members' area where they had the footy on. Didi Hamann was about two tables along and Spurs were on, think they were playing Palace or Swansea, or someone like that anyway, and they won about 5-0 I think.

Didn't speak to him because I'd rather just leave them to it but he was jumping up and celebrating their goals; not sure why; maybe he had money on them. Weird seeing an ex Red like Hamann celebrating another English club's goals though.

Seen Riera in the Tesco near ours as well when he was here and he was refusing to sign autographs for the kids, and generally came across as a bit of a blert. Reina was in a few months later, like a pig in sh*t laughing and joking with all the little ones and the staff though which was good to see.

Recently in Sydney. Great little chat they did just in a sports store. Skip is an absolute hoot, talks with such passion and love and adoration for both the club and fans. McAteer and McAllister both great to listen to as well, wife was very much liking how well Jason had aged :D

Small aside - Mark Bosnich turned up to do the MC'ing for the shindig, which had many of us bemused. That fella definitely thinks his sh*t smells like roses, f**king hell. The lads are trying to start the sign and photo session and Bozza's leaning in trying to tee up dinner somewhere in Sydney the next day "Guys I know a place, you'll love it, give me a ring in the morning and we'll set it up." Lads are trying to talk to us fans at the same time and sign things and whatever and their all like ah we'll see Bozza but kinda got a lot on! He took a picture of the fans waiting, then I actually heard him asking the LFC staff how to spell McAteer, McAllister, & Johnston for his tweet. Bloody hell.

Tweet below, complete with me giving him the "F**k you doing here" stare.

Doesn't get any better than that mate.

We went Mellwood 6 yrs back when he was managing and stood from 9 till 12:30....i nipped the Tesco along road to grab sandwiches for the kids and "The King" drove out and I f***in' missed him!

Little 'un got his pic though - shouted out "but Kenny I've come from Glasgow and I'm only 8" and he laughed and shouted him over.

As pleased as I was for him I was proper gutted.....

Why do I get the sense you've said that before followed by ".......your honour".

Only kidding nothing better than seeing one of the great ones and they turn out to be decent human beings.

My biggest (non LFC) hero was Danny McGrain and when we took the boys club I used to coach round Celtic Park a few Easters ago he was there and spent about 45 mins just blathering to the boys. They'd no idea who he was but me and the other coaches (couple of Rangers fans in there as well) were in awe.
