      We've scored 13 goals and conceded 1.
      Beat Real, United and Villa.
Benitez signed a new 5 year contract.
United loses to Fulham, Chelsea loses to Tottenham.

      what a week :)

And that was a penalty ;D

I was there yesterday and although i wasn't in the greatest seats (right at the back of the lower tier in the anfield road end) it was one of the best days iv ever had at Anfield.

Masch, Skrtel and Alby were absolutely brillaint,

Rieras time out of the team must have given him a kick up the arse because he seemed to be dipping in for before he was out.

Skrtel didnt miss a header or a tackle all afternoon it one of the best performances iv seen him put in for Liverpool.

Masch was still flying iton tackles all over the pitch like we were defnding a 1-0 lead when we were 5-0 up.

And for Stevie well what can i say?
      Brilliant performance.

And to top it all off i met Alan Kennedy on my way into the ground :D ;D

All Villa vs Man U sentiments aside:

That was a good red card against Brad Friedel. Torres had beaten his clean, he then used his shoulder to take him out!

If it's rescinded, good for Villa.

Man U are gonna be without Roonie boy, Scholes, and Vidic.

First time i've been on since match so here's my reaction! Absolutely delighted with the performance of the team, we are on a really good roll at the minute, it's good for everyone, the players and us fans! 5-0 what a score too, playing aston villa on paper i thought it would be a bit scrappy a 1-0 or 2-0 win, possibly 3-0 if we were doing really well but 5-0 completely surpassed my expectations!! Credit to team and manager and coaches, at this rate the league is looking very possible so keep it up lads!

Just watched the goals again and F**k me all five were great. Even Stevie's two pens were well taken, sent the keeper the wrong way on both occoassions, kept his cool and slotted them home. Stevie's free kick was again brilliantly placed, saw the smallest of gaps and still managed to squeeze it in. Kuyt's was very good technically, could very easily of just swiped at it. But Riera's was top notch. Very difficult skill to do that, reminded me a lot of Keane's against Arsenal.

I'm with the manager though there were certain things we could of done better. My biggest worry was from out wide, although both Kuyt and Riera scored, when they had the ball on the flanks they never really looked like putting a dangerous ball in. Also was a getting a bit cheesed off at how every attack we tried to give it to Torres. 5-0 up fair enough we can mess around but with the space we had we could of made it 6, 7 maybe even 8 nil if other players took it on themselves. Again this reminded me of Robbie Keane, when we constantly tried to lay him on for his hattrick against West Brom, something which a lot of people on here weren't too happy on.

Wins against Stoke, West Ham, Fulham, Hull and even a draw agains Boro would have made us 10 points clear. We really deserve to be champions this season, even if Scum's depth is greater than ours'.

I agree.. But i do still believe we have more than what it takes to be victorious once again. Cant wait till the Internationals are finished.

Bit harsh! personally I just reckon Arbeloa didnt fancy it on his left foot.

He scored a belter against west brom with his left foot earlier this season.
I'm not trying to be harsh, i'm just nitpicking now. He just looked like he was either lacking a bit of confidence to take it on or was desperate to get torres on the scoresheet.
