You know what, I couldn't watch those Sarah Connor chronicles because Sarah Connor belongs in the Terminator and I'm not having it!

And Battlestar Galactica belongs in the 80's!

Why can't they just leave things alone?!

Depends if we're talking current ones, or best ever ones.

Quantum Leap would take some beating IMO.

Supernatural...not really sci-fi but a great show, definitely worth watching.  I'm a big fan of Lost but IMO, Supernatural is consistantly better and unlike most shows, gets better as it goes along.

I've heard good things about Battlestar Galactica though, but never watched it.  Invasion and Jericho where good too.

Go back to basics and start off with some classics.

      Lost in Space.
      The land of the Giants.
      Time Tunnel.
      Outer Limits.
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
      V.
      Logans Run.
      Planet of the Apes.
      Star Trek(original).
      The Hulk.
      The Invisible Man.
There is loads of old stuff to watch just to keep you going for the time being, granted the acting is a bit dire at times but you will see how far sci-fi has progressed over the years most of all Star Trek and Galactica, anyway give them a look and if I think of anymore i'll let you know.

I remember the invisible man, was ok, forgot the old ones, outer limits were always good (they did a new series which was good). what was the one dont adjust your tv set....hmmm.
The Hulk was crap although i was a fan as a kid int he 70s. i remember tales of the unexpected that scared me when i was a kid, probably look crap now though, i think the programs have moved onto another level nowdays. Quantum leap was a good call

has anybody watched doctor who in the last ten years, i have not, couldnt let myself spoil my old memories of how good it was when pertwee was the dr.

getting into sarah connor now though.

I'm obsessed with LOST! Brilliant programme. Not many shows can rival the twists and turns that LOST comes up with.

I love LOST too :) Can't get enough of it.
I must admit my head is spinning with all the time traveling stuff in season 5 but it just gets better every episode.
Can't wait to see the next episode ;D

Yay, more Lost lovers! ;D

If you watched the first few seasons and then gave up watching it when it got confusing, i would advice you to start watching it again. It really is even better now.

      I love Heroes as well.

I was slighty disappointed with the last two episodes.  Although I think its just because there are only like 20 odd episodes left and they seemed like fillers.  Probably setting it up for the end of the season.  I won't give anything away though ;)

Anyone going to be watching The Wire tonight?  BBC2 at 11:20...best television series I've ever seen.  Be warned though, post Wire-watching makes all other shows on TV dross and may ruin anything else you watch because they just don't compare to The Wire.

Its hard to get into at first, especially with the dialogue and so many characters but I'd definitely advise to keep watching, then you'll be hooked.

Anyone seen the Lost season 5 finale yet?  I haven't liked much of season 5 but that was bloody amazing.  The cliffhanger they leave you on is just unbearable...can't wait until next year.
