Can't really agree. We dominated the first 30 minutes, but since then its been pretty even, favouring Fulham even.

Yeah once they scored we faded a bit but we've more than enough to get back into it.

McLaughlan off, Kent on.  Looks like another knock for McLaughlan, he's been plagued by them for a couple of seasons.  Such a pity as he'd be very useful at rwb for the 1st team.

How the F**k have we not equalized? Two empty net situations in quick succession and two terrible misses.

We're a bigger threat with Kent on the pitch, so glad he's signed a new contract, think he's a fantastic player.

Bad result for our Title ambitions that.  We really should be beating the likes of Fulham but that's typical Liverpool, losing to bottom feeders.

Completely forgot about him, he must be into his early 20s by now I assume?

21 next month mate, he was only 18 when we bought him.  Still time for him to stake his claim if he's over his injuries but this is first start back for months so it's a good sign that he's straight back into his scoring.

had high hopes for him when he joined, his contract must be up soon.

Wasn't he German under 21 player if the year when we bought him? This lad needs to be given a good chance to prove himself, he definitely has potential.

If he's over his injuries and still scoring at similar to his numbers when we bought him I'm sure we'll extend it.  I can't see us letting go of a promising young striker when we're so desperate for goals in the 1st team.

dont want to be doom and gloom but he may not want to extend, but hes not proved himself yet heres hoping.

Played with Can all through their International Youth teams mate and I think he will get the chance.  He played a couple of senior games when he first arrived, it's the injuries that have kept him out of the limelight.

Why would he not want to extend?  He's not played due to 2 serious injuries not because he's out of favour or not good enough.

If we offer him a contract, he will almost certainly take it. Scoring goals in our U21s is not going to get him to another decent team, so if he's doing well here and he reckons he has a shot at the first team there's no reason for him not to.

Completely different scenario.  Laurie joined us as a 16 year old in 2008 and made his first team debut in the early 2010/11 season before the Owl gave him away to Fulham.  He was nowhere near the level of Yesil.

German Liverpool players have been good for us in the past,Hamman, Babbel, Ziege, Reidle, and not forgetting the best of all Sean Dundee!  :f_tongueincheek:

Hodgson really fu**ed up with that one, De La Valle was the closest thing we had to Fowler coming through, and Roy part exchanged him for Paul Konchesky!
