I know, can't believe his camp said that his ribs were hurt. The second that news came out he needed to pull out of the fight, first thing McGregor would have done would be kick him in the ribs and it would be game over from there. Mendes is no joke though, he took Aldo to the limit.

Just been watching the weigh ins on Sky+ and the recording ended just as the main event lads were about to come out. Hate that.

Won't be staying awake for it (unless I go out later) so will have to stay away from Twitter and here in the morning.

Delighted for McGregor. I'll be honest I had my doubts about this, Conor is clearly a very good fighter but Mendes is Championship material and (as he proved) phenomenal on the ground. To take this fight with two weeks notice and still win what was a terrible match up for McGregor has legitimized him as the real deal. I think that moment with Frankie Edgar after the fight proved that.

The fight with Aldo is going to be the biggest in UFC history, they are going to take this to another level. And now all the momentum is with McGregor. Dana White and the UFC have made no secret of their disappointment in Aldo for pulling out of the fight. McGregor looks stronger and he'll definitely play up to Aldo "running" from the fight. The fight itself will be incredible with both men much happier to keep it standing and trade strikes.

Just watched the UFC from last night. Man, I love Ronda, she is untouchable! As if she wasn't like a pitbull in the octagon anyway, Correia decided to wind her up in the build up to the fight by mentioning Ronda's family, huge mistake!

Ronda can't be touched she is the perfect athlete. I'd fancy her against most men at 135lbs.

It was amazing to watch. She destroyed her at her own game. I love Ronda, one of the most exciting fighters to watch no matter how brief the bouts
