I always found ska/punk bands do the best covers, I know in recent times there been a few cover songs on the charts. Flo Rider who does a cover of Right Round, not my taste but it is catchy but there is cover song of Africa (original song by toto) by some raper which is on the charts here in Canada but is horrible.

I actually only found the proper clip because some goose loaded it as a "Van Halen" clip, not David Lee Roth....
