      Jonathan Marray and  Frederik Nielsen.

In commentary during their Wimbledon Final .... they were both fanatical Reds !
      Marray was born in Liverpool.

I'll second that JD, what a fantastic achievment, winning the TDF, praise also for Mark Cavendish,Chris Froome and all the rest of the skycycling team, but Bradley's win is as good if not better than Englands WC win, (even tho it Was handed on a plate) in '66', i can see a Knighthood on the horizon alongwith sports personality of the year,   Congrats Wiggo, YNWA.

Both would be fitting IMO and well deserved. Winning the TdF is a fantastic achievement and maybe his team can dominate for a few years.

Yeah i think they will dominate, it would be nice if the team helped Chris Froome to the yellow jersey next year, his efforts were absolutely unbelievable, he could have won two or three of the stages no problem but instead stuck to team orders and dragged Bradley to the title, the ultimate team mate.

Agreed. I'd like to see the team back Froome next year, although he is younger than Wiggins and that might go against him if Bradley rides again next year.

Right then - who are the reds competing in the Olympics? Just so we can give them an extra cheer when they bag medals.

Really hope Uruguay win the whole thing , seeing Luis getting his Gold medal would  be something special.
Team GB , I mean who really cares , even the players don't seem to give a toss , at least Gareth Bale doesn't.
Yet they expect us to get behind them. Wrong!!

Daniel Craig - aka James Bond - has just arrived at Fenway Park and met with the Liverpool squad.

Let's give a shout out to Peter Charles who just won gold as part of Great Britain's showjumping team! Born in Liverpool, Charles said the Reds are "the only team for me". Well done Peter!

      Daniel Craig.
Lived in Prescot for a while as a kid.

      ( Like some of us do ........................ ............     for a while )

      Homeland Hero Damien Lewis ...

ACTOR Damian Lewis said he was drawn to playing the lead role in Will because he would get to meet Steven Gerrard.

The Band of Brothers star, who plays Will’s dad, Gareth, admitted it was a challenge to nail the Scouse accent.

Lewis said: "I am a Liverpool fan and was drawn to the film for different reasons – one of them being I would get to meet Steven Gerrard.

"I’m a Londoner, not a Scouser, but I have always supported Liverpool FC.

"Liverpudlians are very quick in terms of their vocal patterns, they are very quick-witted, they are cheeky and I tried to find elements of that."

I always thought he was Citys Main man he seems to always be there .

If he is a Reds fan then he needs to give Messi a little whisper in his ear!

I bet whoever done that high five had traces of Columbia on them, they probably exploded after 6 minutes in the second half.
