That reminds me of the whole, 'I'm less of a red because I'm Canadian' discussion. That's the flip side.

Local fans are pretty much brainwashed into their views. Us reds from abroad were able to look at the football world from an un-skewed perspective and decide that's where my heart is going to be. Just food for thought, because in my eyes were all in this together and no one can logically say they are more of a supporter than anyone else.

Ah, SISG. I was born a Red you see, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm glad I didn't have to decide.

I think it should be on my birth certificate.

i heard john lennon was a liverpool fan. thats the biggest complement ever. his manager recently said this in an interview. lennon even had dreams of playing for liverpool. I also heard on espnstar in india that ravi shasthri was a massive liverpool fan. the former world cup winning captain was alongside steve mcmahon during the interview.

To be honest, I couldn't even comprehend choosing a football team. I'm a Liverpool fan, and as far as I know I have been since I was born, and that's about it.

When did you choose Liverpool if you don't mind me asking?

There's also Angelina Jolie and the late Pope John Paul II.

Imagine him in his little scarf watching us play Wigan. :D

Does anyone remember that film with Samuel Jackson and Robert Carlyse (sp). Good film ... 51st filmed in Liverpool and Robert Carlise (sp) was a mad Liverpool fan and ran into a Manc pub before kick off, and it literally kicked off ! ?

      Good film that.

51st State, could find a few faults with it, but overall it was F***ing funny. That was also when Samuel fell in love with Liverpool and attended the derby. Think it was the game when we beat the sh*te 3-1 and Barmby scored the first.

Slash from Guns N' Roses i found out when i went to America. Mike Myers was apparently in Istanbul in 2005 for the game and in Waynes world two he talks about Gerry and the Pacemakers.

Thought Slash was a Stoke fan, but I could be wrong. Mike Myers was either originally born in Liverpool or one of his parents was. In Waynes World if you look closely enough there is a framed reds pic in the background.

The Queen? wasn't there a rumour in the early 80's that we could have been called Royal Liverpool 'cos we were winning every thing.

Any oldies out there that remember this?

"Please make sure the Mankers are winning all year next year"

WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS MANKERS ALL ABOUT?

I am sure you are just trying to be rude about United... but just call them "United", or if you must, "mancs"... if you really have to "septics"... I know we can't use the other word for them on here... but MANKERS?!

      Seriously, that is cringe-worthy.
